New Computer Shorting all my Keyboard/Mouse

Im pretty sure the heatsink is on correctly, cause there are latches and they wouldnt fit if i didnt have it on the right position. I guess im going to try and get a new motherboard from microcenter. Will update in a few days to see if the artic silver break-in period matters

Are there any programs that can have a more accurate check besides HW monitor?

Have you overclocked at all?
The aluminum block heatsink/fan that comes with that is not the best.
I have a FX-4100 also and you can't OC hardly any with it.

EDIT: Your core temps look good, I'm suspecting a faulty sensor on the MB.

Your cpu temps are circled in the attached image. The readings above are from the motherboard.

Do something cpu intensive and see how high those temps that are circled go up.

My friend wanted to see what the temps and memory were like after 20minute stress test with Prim95.

If those core readings are what i should be looking at for the CPU then why does the motherboard have another CPU temp reading.

Am i supposed to be looking at the 4 CPU Core Temps or the Motherboard CPU Temps for the temperature reading of my Actual CPU. Im so confused right now.

Because if im looking at the 4 CPU core temps then its within normal range, but if i go by the Motherboard CPU temperature reading its idling high...
