New computer won't turn on!

I just built my first computer and I am having a huge issue.

When I press the power button, the computer light will start and the fans will run, but I see nothing on my monitor. What is going on and most likely the culprit?

Update: I took the video card out and it finally worked. However, the computer will restart whenever I click start windows normally. When it asks to set BIOS by hitting delete, it just brings me back to "Start windows normally" or "startup repair".

I have a z77 ud3h by gigabyte.
i5 3570k
550W PSU
6850 SAPPHIRE RADEON HD

Why is it when I remove the video card it works?

Its an old one that contains 160 GB and is approximately 7 years old. I don't know if that is the issue because it was working for my old computer. I took it off my old computer that stopped working and plugged it into this one. I can access the BIOS, but other than that, I don't know what to do. The fans are all working, all LED lights are showing.

There you go, you figured this out all by yourself. You can't take a hard drive that was originally installed in one machine and put it in another machine and expect it to boot up because the hardware is different. You will need to buy a new windows operating system and install it.

Just to clarify what you wrote, does that mean that my old hard drive is useless ? I don't mind throwing it out but I have valuable information on there.

Another question, I have a brand new hard drive coming in sometime these two days and I'm wondering if that would solve the issue. My DVD drive isn't working atm so can I just install Windows 7 on a USB drive and use the new hard drive and then install it from there?

The drive isn't useless at all. It's just that the windows install was setup for a different machine then what it is in right now. Basically its looking for hardware and its not finding it so its rebooting on you. Buy a new dvd drive for about $20 and use it. If you have data on the drive then you'll have to slave the drive to another system to copy the data off of it.

So basically I:

1) Grab a new hard drive
2) Burn new windows 7
3) Insert windows 7 to DVD drive.
4) Install windows 7
5) Everything should work?

And after I install the windows 7 for my current system, can I just insert my old hard drive and it'll retrieve the data?

You need to plug the drive into a different machine as a secondary drive, retrieve any data you need, put it into your new machine, install Windows 7 and there you go. Installing Windows 7 will format all data on the drive, so it will be lost.

I just had my new hard drive delivered today. I'm not sure how to install windows 7 at all since my optical drive doesn't work... How can I do it via USB?

So I can log onto everything and it works fine... Windows 7 is there but this is all done without my Radeon hd 6850 radeon card because whenever it is on the computer, the monitor doesn't show anything! Help!!!!
