Hey! Yesterday I bought a new hard drive SSD-SATA 320gb for my laptop! And was really happy since my last Harddrive crached!
Now I'm faceing another problem "fs_rec.sys" issue!
Says fs_rec.sys is corrupt... I read that I need to put it in another computer but can't do that.
Is there a way to replace it using Command prompt? Anything? Help please! I'm tired of all the problems :-/

Hi there

Please take the time to let us know in detail what you have done.

For example:

You removed the old faulty hdd
Replaced it with a new ssd
Installed Windows?
Ensured that the BIOS is pointing to the SSD as a primary disk to boot from?

and so on.

Yes I removed the old hard drive putted the new one in installed win7 professional, installed my antivirus program, iTunes and updated it with windows update after that the problem came just after I updated with windows update.
How do i "Ensured that the BIOS is pointing to the SSD as a primary disk to boot" ????

If it is a brand new hard drive, it will be unformatted, try using a hard drive program like parted magic or mini tool drive partion.

They will download as an iso, you burn the iso to a disc, then boot from the disc and see if your new hard drive is seen and if so format it to ntfs

Ok you need to boot from the Windows installation disc and go to Repair My computer and use system restore to go back to before the update in question. If you cannot do that I would put a copy of bootnNuke on a cd and run it. This will wipe everything and you would need to start again.

Yep, most likely a bad windows update has caused the system to not boot up. Happens quite often in fact. If you haven't done much to the system just wipe and reinstall windows.

So you reinstalled and did the exact same thing and are surprised the same things happened?

Just install the latest security patches and get the latest drivers from the manufacturer.

Not that it's any better, but I would go a diff route. If you have to reinstall the os again, take a look at your ssd's manufr'r website, it might be their ssd forum, and see if you have the latest firmaware. If not, their FW update process might erase the drive as well. If it doesn't they may have a recommended erase proceedure, or use Diskpart through command prompt, or another erasing tool recommended for ssd's.
Before installing Windows make sure you have the BIOS setting for the Sata port its connected to set to ACHI, and have the lastest appropriate ACHI driver. It should be set to ACHI and the right driver before you restart Windows for the first time..

Then
Just install the latest security patches and get the latest drivers from the manufacturer.

Heeey! guys! again! :p im facing new problems with my new laptop and new harddrive! lol...
Windows cant find Winload.exe?

it says:

File: \Windows\System32\Winload.exe
Status: 0xc0000000f
Info: The selected entry Could not be loaded coz the app is missing or corrupt..

LoL i think i should stay away from the computers.. lol

After googling for Hours i think i found a solution but not sure!

System Sweeper this might be the solution to my problem according to Microsoft Forum...

I just realized that My Win7 Pro Is in D: and not C: how´s that possible?
it should be in C: it always been there...

and when i try to Reinstall windows i see this:
Disk 0 Partition1: system Reserved 100MB/71MB Type:System
Disk 0 Partition2 298GB/215.1GB Type:Primary..

should it be like this?
