im about to buy a new laptop and i want to get an SSD (256gb). not sure how i should go about doing this:
- before i turn it on, should i install the ssd? (if the windows 7 comes with a cd)
- even if my laptop comes with a windows 7 cd, should i just turn it on (without the ssd) and install windows, and then install ssd?
i know how to install an ssd, watched videos on youtube, very easy and takes 2-3min, im just not sure what i should do first.....
(if i install the windows 7 on the hdd (and only windows 7), i don't need to clone the drive since its just windows 7 right?).......i just want to make sure i know everything i have to before i go about this. i just want to know everything that i have to do before i start)
oh yeah, and samsung SSD that i will get will be 2.5", thats the right size? (all of the videos i've watched on youtube seems like the drives are a little bit bigger than 2.5". even the new videos)
this is the SSD i'm going to buy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147164&name=Internal-SSD
