RAM is RAM, with very few exceptions. Look at Adata, Kingston, G.Skill, Patriot, Crucial, Corsair, or Mushkin for the most part. Samsung is a heck of a good brand also, but they are out of stock just about everywhere.

The ones I recommended are a good bit better than the original. The 7750 is decent.

vs 550ti

Can't find one for vs 6770, but it should be similar performance for less money.

Motherboard, GD65 hands down. The others are decent, but I wouldn't use them if you can afford not to.

It is a perfectly good processor. The only other low budget unit you could look at is an i3, but the performance is not worth the jump in price.

Wow wolfe, thanks a lot!! Looks like ill be going with the GD65 and ill probably end up with the 560ti.....thanks again!!!

No brand doesn't really matter. I tend to just get the cheapest one lol. Sapphire is a good brand for AMD and EVGA a good brand for NVIDIA btw. :D

I'd actually recommend you get a Corsair CX 600.

Are you buying this 560 Ti new? If so, they still cost around $200 from Newegg which is a lot for a 2 year old card - especially when the Radeon HD 7850 is about the same cost but is a faster and newer card.

You could get this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102999 and this power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028 and be good to go.

You can see the difference between the 560 Ti and the 7850 here http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=547 remember the 7850 has an extra gig of V-RAM which is nice (most 560 Tis were 1GB).

If you're buying second hand and you can get a good deal on a 560 Ti, by all means go for it. It's still a good card, I just wouldn't recommend buying one new when there's better stuff out there for the same cost, but if you get a good deal second hand, yes, it's good. :)

And the CX 600 PSU will be fine for a 560 Ti too.

The one he was recommended is used, and it was only recommended because it was only a bit more than the new 6670 that was originally recommended.

That makes sense then. Yep, go for the 560 Ti if you can get it for a tiny bit more than a 6670. It's miles better.

Lol thanks guys, I actually just found one brand new for $130 so I'm pretty sure I'm going to jump on that unless someone can talk me out of it in the next like 5 minutes xD

Is there any way I could get another PSU recommendation? I liked the corsair spirit recommended but I would really like one that is modular... I've found a couple on newegg but they all have really good and then really bad reviews lol so I'm not sure which one to get

Do you need full modular or semi modular? That will make all the difference in what to look at.

Until that is answered, look at maybe the OCZ ZT series. It is full modular.

semi modular is cheaper, but most of the time you still end up with a cable or 2 extra. Like the MOdstream pro 600 watt comes with the 24 pin ATX, EPS 12V, and P4 12V permanently attached. Where the EPS and P4 do the same job and will work in either connector.

or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139050

these two are the lowest priced modular units that have enough power for a GPU (reliably without limiting your GPU options)
