New Rig Keeps Freezing/Crashing and I'm Panicking. Help fast!

Well i just built this rig back in August, you can see my specs below. I use it for gaming and school work, but we all know that typing a word document or searching on Google for homework answers is not that demanding on a system. When it comes to gaming, which I do every day, some days more than others, I have being having a lot of issues. My FPS dropped from solid 60 to 40 in Twisted Treeline on League of Legends, which back on my HD 5870 would never drop, not only is Twisted Treeline the smallest map in the game but League of Legends in itself is not going to Out Power my GPU and my CPU, so that is one reason I know something is wrong. Other more serious reason is because I just bought my first COD game ever, BO2 and 2 times I being playing my whole computer froze and crashed. It didn't crash in terms that the game window closed to desktop but crashed in terms that it Froze with this repeated annoying stock sound and my screen just froze there and I'll admit it was freaking scary and made me panic, Cntl+Alt+Delete WOULD not work neither would Alt+Tab or Alt+F4. At the time when I'm able to play there is this constant jerking for like a second around every 5-10 seconds but not exactly in that rhythm. Its kinda like a jerk, jittery, lag of sorts, however FRAPS FPS remains constant, at least I haven't noticed any drops when this happens. Its like it gets stock in game....very frustrating knowing that it wasn't like this until last 1 or 2 ago, specially with the amount of money I put into this system. My system feels sluggish at times? Like when I type on certain search engines or Windows Search Boxes there is a delay on the PC to write what I'm typing or when I press back space to delete what I have wrote. I don't use torrents so I couldn't have gotten a virus from there. I have Kasperky anti virus as well and I ran every type of scan available, Critical Area, Vulnerable Area and Full Scan. I did this 2 times and nothing came back positive or as a threat.

Things I have done to try to fix this issues
1) Ran Kaspersky Anti virus (No Threats Detected or Viruses)
2) Updated Drivers for Nvidia (Up to date no current Updates Available)
3) Rolled Back Drivers for Nvidia
4) Defragmented
5) Error Check Hard Drive
7) Ran CCcleaner Multiple times.
8) Set GPU OC back to Default/Stock
9) Removed CMOS Battery
10) Cleaned Computer with Air Duster
11) Checked for Drivers
NOTE: My CPU is all Stock, only thing I have OC is my GPU

I'm might have forgotten some stuff but I have tried all this things and nothing has helped. I feel ilke my only option is to Do fresh Install of Windows 7....sigh. That is why I wanted to come here and see if anyone knows how to fix this, if not I'll just do a fresh install of windows this evening.:(

Yes you should definitely check your RAM. Test if first for about 8 hours with all the sticks installed, then start removing sticks and testing individually. It's a long and tiresome process, but it has to be done.

Alternatively, remove one of your sticks and see if the problems are reduced.

Windows.old

Okay, I decided to take the quicker route and do a Fresh install of Windows 7, if this fails and the problem is still there then I will do the Memtest, I just didn't have time to do it and needed a quick fix for my computer so I could do some homework on it tonight, besides I had no important files.

Okay so I deleted the Windows.old folder through Disk Cleanup, it deleted almost 100GB of stuff but I still see some games under C drive, they are taking up almost another 15 GB and I don't see an Option to uninstall neither in the specific program folder or under Program and Futures. So I'm wondering if it would be okay to just delete this files? They are unimportant files, mainly games, but not sure if some old files will remain hidden if I just delete them w.o uninstalling. Know what I'm trying to say? So yeap, thanks.

You obviously didn't do a fresh install if you have a windows.old folder. To do a fresh install, you must delete existing partitions and then repartition, then install windows.

Yeap, you can see my knowledge base, and this constant brain fog from Lyme Disease doesn't help me in anyway neither:(.
Well now that I already installed Windows and deleted the Windows old files, what can I do about left over programs, such as game folders and their files? Would it be okay if I just delete them? I don't see an option to Uninstall. Call it OCD but I'd like to free up all the space I can and knowing those folders with files are still there is bugging me. I guess If I would have done it right the first time like you said, then I wouldn't have to worry about this. Oh well this is how you learn.

You won't be able to uninstall them as they weren't installed inside your current install. You can try deleting them. If I were you, I would just reinstall again the correct way.

Inconclusive Memtest Results?

Well, I ran the memtest from around 9PM Last night and is now 6:20AM when I stopped it. I did both sticks, and If an error came up I would have removed one to test a single stick and ran the test again on it. I'm not sure what happened but the results seem Inconclusive? I had just waken up to check on my computer and naturally the test was still running but my whole screen was filled with what seemed to be the word Ca;ll? Being my first time using this software I tried to scroll up or down with the Keypad perhaps it would show the scores but it didn't work. I don't know what I did wrong but the screen I saw this morning was not the same screen I saw last night in the sense that no scores where showing. I tried looking on the web for "Ca'll" but found nada. Basically I couldn't see none of the data, such are results, time etc.... I however could see the Test and Pass part in progress but not the Error result part. Or Did I just not tap the up arrow key enough?

Okay so the clipping from this generic image was the part I couldn't see. (Click to see full Size)

Well according to that image you have 3352 errors and if you have any lines below that dotted lines then those are the memory errors.

Thanks Johnb35, the image on my post is simply a generic image. I put it there because I was trying to explain that, that specific part (The Image) where you see the errors and the "Status" of the test, was not visible when I woke up this morning. So that whole part of the picture above was missing, I did however see it when I started memtest last night but It wasn't there when I woke up, and my screen was full of some time of scrible that said "Ca;ll" and I was unable to see the test results. glitch of sorts perhaps? I'll run memtest again tonight and if it happens again I will just take a picture with my phone. I assume that 8 hours should be enough time.

Hmmm... I don't remember it looking like that when I ran it.

I think the best thing you can do now is remove one of your RAM sticks and then use your PC for a few days and see if anything is better. If not, reinstall the stick and take out the other one and use the computer for a while.

Hi Spirit, I haven't got the chance to do another memtest with just 1 stick because I needed my computer for class but I'm going to do it tonight, and just test one stick this time.
I was wondering, someone else told me that it could be a GPU problem, what do you think?

Because my computer is still acting up, taking forever to load web pages, slow response time, unable to do multiple yet simple task such as click start button and maximize Firefox.
Another example is that this morning upon starting my computer none of the applications loaded up, the system then became extremely slow to respond. However this is not often that it happens.

I think the problem is probably memory related still. Run Memtest on each stick individually and tell us how it goes. :)
