That I know. What I mean was. If I already have ssd do I still need hard drive?
SSD (solid state drives) are designed for the SAME purpose as the HDD (hard disk drives).
So if you have no money limit and performance and speed is the most important then buy the best and biggest SSD drive.

So no...you do NOT need the HDD for SSD to work properly.
People just use additonal HDDs for more storage since they cannot afford multiple SSD drives.
Why?
Because it's too expensive for them.
And if you have no money limit then you do not even need to buy HDDs.Just get SSDs.
