yeah i hope so
remember measure twice and cut once
what are the layers? aluminum, rubber, aluminum? i'd use a dremel or something. just cut through one layer. do the same on the back, and use a razor on the rubber in between. the window kits come with a surround to make it look even.
It's aluminum, plastic, aluminum. I do have a dremel but how clean do you think the cut would be?
I don't think it would be that bad of a cut, but i would use 100 grit sand paper and move up in grit to clean it up abit
I wouldn't use a powersander too much
BTW I'm getting a P180B and want a window in it too
I was just looking up windows for it and saw that you should be able to get a window put in it for $69 plus shipping: http://www.performance-pcs.com/
But I don't really want to pay that much money. I'm still looking for a solution.
so you send the case in and they cut the window for you??? or they have just the side with the window allready in it???
I think they cut it for you cause you have to send it in. But you shouldn't have to send in the whole case cause you can just take the panel off and send that.
I was looking on some forum and saw that a guy used a dremel and it worked fine. I just don't want to mess up my case cause it's really nice and quiet pricey.
