Noob First build

Since its asking for a disc, you may not need to set the optical as the 1st boot device in the bios.
Read about disabling the ide? In the mb manual?
The bios is probly rapidly tapping delete at start-up.
Looks like you can nake sure Onchip sata is enabled.
Change all ide's to sata unless the manual or the instructions on the left of the screen say to have the optical port @ ide.
Disable raid if you don't have it.
Set Sata 3.0 to 3.0, unless you have an ssd->that port would be 6.0.
Find boot priority in bios and set the optical as 1st.
Save sttings and exit and it will reboot.
put install disc in.

With a Gigabyte, you can hit key F12 when booting. A boot order page will pop up and you can pick your CD/DVD. That way you can leave your hardrive 1st. in the bios boot order.

At this point I can't even access the bios
