Nvidia announcement coming

I'm reading through the comments and some people are predicting that Nvidia is going to tap into the cpu market, wouldn't that be crazy.
 
I'm wondering if they do go to desktop CPU's if it will mean new MB's as well or if they will make something compatible with an Intel or AMD mb.
 
very doubtful, it's just gonna be the next couple gpus. Although this is weird

I'd say it means their opening a container full of their new graphics cards or something, but it could be breaking in, as in to the cpu market since he mentioned that.

I didn't know that Nvidia was making a CPU already.
Does it use a Nvidia mb?

The nvidia cpu's are the tegra 1, 2 and 3 that are in tablets like the ASUS Transformers, they aren't for desktops or anything and you can't buy them (as far as i know at least, maybe on ebay)

If the new cards are below $350, and good specs, I'm going for one. Need more vRam! Gonna have two jobs this summer so I'll have money to burn.

It will likely be the launch of the GTX 670 and maybe the 690. Probably not going to be the 660 or the 660 Ti though, which is the card I'm most interested in. Hoping to grab a cheap GTX 560 Ti or 570 once all the Kepler cards have been released.

It's going to be a very busy weekend in the world of tech with the launch of the GTX 670 (possibly) and Ivy Bridge! Ivy Bridge got launched in the UK today. :)

the front page of geforce.com is working, but not the page that has the link to the stream. The stream itself isn't working either.
Anyone got a link for somewhere else?
I keep getting an internal server error.
 
can't find the live streme and like half of their site appears to have crashed, only the main page seams to work

Maybe this is what the crowbar was for, to bludgeon ourselves out of anger when they build up all this hype then crash and burn
