I don't know that much about computers but when i was about to put together the new one i did some research on the internet. And all i found about the motherboard was that it had to be good. They didn't say what it should have...so i just thought that buying a really expensive one should be "good". Later i found this forum...and here i found out about the SLI thing. You see i'm not just a reach kid who spend a lot of money on hardware that was too pricy. Before actually buying something i checked it's value on this website www.tweakers.net (it's in dutch though) Like what is it's cheapest price, how much did the price change over time...etc. And you see my motherboard turns out to be good...it has sli and all.Archangel said:you know that that sounds kinda stupid, do you?

Hairy_Lee said:from what ive read the 7800gtx will be the better of the two. there is however, a new version of the 7800gtx with 512 megs of ram which is clocked higher (i dont know if its gonna be rebranded and a 7800 ultra though).
if you do decide to go with either of these cards you'll need to make sure you have a strong psu
What was the point in bumping this old thread and saying that?Hoorah
