Oblivion? Expansions?

I'm looking for something I can explore at my own pace. Not have to worry about leveling up so much and dying all the time. Something online without monthly subscription.

In Oblivion, the monsters level up with you. So you'll always be able to kill any monster at any given time in the game (not saying it'll be easy to kill them, but it's always doable). And trust me, you won't get bored with Oblivion. I played it for 4 months straight and still haven't done all the quests yet. The one thing I love about the game so much is that it's completely open. You can do anything and go anywhere you want in the world. Of course there's the huge main quest, but there's also TONS of other quests that you can do instead of the main one.

Wait, don't blame me, I recommended WiC! :D lol, but sure, give it a try. Never hurts to try, right? ........

Other suggestions, Team fortress 2 and UT3 for the foreseeable future.. (novemberish)

I'm not looking for a FPS. Looking for more of an RPG. What is WiC? I googled it and all I got was stuff about "women, infants, children".

yeah man, I will have no qalms if you buy and play oblivion on my advice and end up not liking it, hell if you buy the Game of the year version I might even buy it off you!! (if you accept aussie dollars). In my experience though, u'll love it considerably more if you are able to run it at full spec or close to it (ie the key features eg. distant lands, HDR maybe).

btw, I just noticed your specs, (jeez I'm slow) good cpu u got there mate! I reckon u'll be fine on the graphics dept. I have the 8800 GTX and hit the limiter at 60fps indoors, I get down to 15-20 FPS out doors though thats because I've been messing with mods/textures to make it look better ;)
