Odd problem with my setup...

Well i do have a 4GB in my closet...

Im just going to wait until my new CPU comes in, then if i have the same problem i'll try that.

I have a dual core and it doesnt do that for me, but then again i do have an AMD... :rolleyes: Hopefully when u get a P4 it will solve the problem.

Im hoping so... Im also selling my x1600pro, and im going to use the money from that and the difference from the Pentium D to buy a 7900GT.
 
I think i fixed the problem!

See, the motherboard comes with some weird Audio Max port, and it comes with an audio card that plugs into it (its not actually built into the mobo), and since the problem happened when listening to music and watching videos, i decided to take that out and put it another 7.1 PCI sound card. And so far no problems!!

Heh that is highly over exaggerated, and I've never had any problems running games on my dual chip.

Need for Speed Most Wanted has issues, if you google it you'll see alot of complaints. I think i was just upset because i got a new PC and it didnt work, but now that i have the problem fixed im much happier :)

Ok but one game? Well that particular game runs fine on my dc box.

I'm glad you got the problem sorted out.
