[-0MEGA-] said:Im actually thinking that it may have been a bug with Windows XP and dual-cores. Since i never really used Windows Update, im updating it now and i'll post back and tell you if it made a difference or not.
Im hoping so... Im also selling my x1600pro, and im going to use the money from that and the difference from the Pentium D to buy a 7900GT.skidude said:I have a dual core and it doesnt do that for me, but then again i do have an AMD...Hopefully when u get a P4 it will solve the problem.
Oh ya, i just want to have a PC that works.skidude said:So you're doing a lot of hardware changing I see.
Yeah, no problem.[-0MEGA-] said:I think i fixed the problem!
See, the motherboard comes with some weird Audio Max port, and it comes with an audio card that plugs into it (its not actually built into the mobo), and since the problem happened when listening to music and watching videos, i decided to take that out and put it another 7.1 PCI sound card. And so far no problems!!
