yea im sure everyone will like 2007 in like a year or so. it takes getting used to because we r all used to 2003. i rememeber when XP first came out and i hated it but now i love it.SC7 said:I used Office 2007 beta on Vista, and it's really nice. It fits into the Vista GUI, and all is well. Once you get used to some of the oddities in the GUI, it's really not that bad at all. I like how they changed the main font of the app too.
With that said, as I still use Xp as my main OS, I still use Office 2003 as my main office program. Office 2003 performs very well, and I like using it better because it's stable, and non time activated. (Risky). Office 2007 also, IMO, performs/looks poorly on Xp.
Yea, and the same goes for Vista too. I know a lot of people won't like things such as IE's new interface right away, but after a while, I'm sure they will change their minds. Microsoft is dropping support for Xp home in 2008 BTW.daygowop said:yea im sure everyone will like 2007 in like a year or so. it takes getting used to because we r all used to 2003. i rememeber when XP first came out and i hated it but now i love it.

I agree, I spent a good deal of time looking for a lot of even basic features. This will make it hard for a lot of corporations to migrate all their workers to the new software. I do like a lot of things in it though, like when making a chart, it has all the color schemes right there at the top.patrickv said:yeah i have it 07 beta 2 but the menus will get you lost. You have to get use to it because it's a huge leap from 2003.But i find it cool.
