Ok guys, I am new here and need some advice. Building a new puter from the ground up minus the HDD, monitor, etc. What I need to know is what will be a good setup for long time use? I'll list what I am thinking, and lemme know if I am on the right track.
Intel Core 2 QX9650
two Nvidea 8800 GTXs
4 gigs of ? RAM *
mobo?
case?
Basically, what Mobo, case, and RAM would be good for what I want to build? It'll be over clocked only when playing games or doing video editing/processing.
Newegg.com is my friend, so if you guys can recommend stuff that they carry, I'd appreciate it. Also, is Liquid cooling really worth it? if so, which one?
Oh, and I want to keep it under $4000. no monitor, OS, HDD, etc is needed, so I think I should be able to make a good system...right?
Thanks in advance.
