Howdy,
Since ive finnaly got my temps under control, i thought id gor for the BIG 4GHZ!
Well, I got to 3.85, then took the leap to 4Ghz. It crashed.
I rebooted, and the blue screen of death appered, i knew it was my RAM, so into the BIOS and back to 800MHz FSB, works fine again.
Now, heres the frequencys standard:
FSB - 800Mhz
RAM - 667Mhz
O/Ced at 4Ghz:
FSB - 940Mhz
RAM - 783.3 MHz
Since my RAM is rated at 667, I think i went a little over
So, If i got a higher Frequency RAM (Corsair 1ghz
) Could I get a stable 4Ghz?
EDIT: The temp in the BIOS at 4Ghz was only 36 Degrees!
