On a game it will Say CD or DVD. If you have a DVD drive and a cd your laughing. Otherwise you can only play DVD games if u have a DVD or CD games if u have a CD. Older games are preety much all CD. Newer are all DVD.

I'm sure they are all CDs. None of my other computers had a DVD driver on them.
So I guess my old games won't work? Darn!

Maby its a cd drive to just doesn't say. Also you can just get one of ebay. Normal ones my be 20$ but external u dont need to put in but they cost more

The ad said it's a DVD-ROM drive - plays DVDs and CDs. So I guess I'll fine out when it comes in.

It's unlikely that a DVD-ROM drive would not be able to play CD's..

It appears they do, I found 100's on Ebay and other places.

DVD-ROM will read a cd just fine.

just wait to see, if you cant play cd's. Dont buy anything till were sure.

Trust me, that optical drive will surely work. And the specs of that pc will work just fine if you plan on playing those type of games.
