Hi,
I recently over-clocked my AMD Phenom 555 B.E. 3.2GHz to 3.8GHz by upping the multiplier to 19x, I am using a gigabyte 870a-ud3 and a 600 watt from Cyberpower. In order to do this I upped my Vcore from 1.45V.
So when I boot up the windows screen glitches a little bit, but I was able to run prime95 for eight hours without any problems. temps stayed under 43 So I am confused to whether I have a stable overclock or not? should I up the voltage of anything else to help stable my overclock? My Bios options gives me many options.
I also have the option for my computer to automatically shut down when my temps get over 65, but am planning to unlock my one additional core that is good. Will this function work after unlocking the additional cores, I know that unlocking makes your core temps mess up so I am not sure whether this function will still work after unlocking the additional core.
Thanks
