Is there something I should change?
He will be using it for gaming, some writing programs and some movie editing.

edit: Some Norwegian words. ;)

PSU - do you really need 750W?? With 870 chipset, probably won't crossfire...
I don't know quality of NZXT PSU...
XFX P1-650X-CAH9 is good to consider.

CPU - Phenom IIx6 1055T would be better choice

CPU cooler - Is it really worth to get H70?? They are so expensive...
If you invest money on core i5 2500K + $40 heatshink should get you better result

thermal compound - personally choose Tuniq TX-2 or ARCTIC COOLING MX-2

He will probably get a second 6950 one day, and H70 is worth it. He would rather go for 965 instead of i5, and in Norway you can't get any good heatsinks for 40$, and the thermalpaste is the best you can have from the shop I've chosen, and he won't need 1055T.

edit: Will also go for a high overclock.

Hale90 PSU's are good, no worries there. Built on Superflower's Golden Green platform, with all Nippon Chemi-Con capacitors. :good:

They covered alot, also if your staying quad core, dont bother with the 965 black edition, just save the $10 or so dollars and get the 955 they overclock the same. Also no reason to go with the H70 just get a good air cooler for half the price. If he plans to crossfire might want to grab a 850w PSU, and go with the XFX 6950 GPU, all that have been reported unlock to a 6970 with a simple bios flash.

Okay, so the mobo went 16x/4x, so I'll find another board.

MSI 870A Fuzion, Socket-AM3, does it go 16x/16x or 8x/8x? If it does, he'll go for it! ;)

You're right. Maybe a better PSU, because of the overclocking, but the shop only sells NZXT 1000watt PSU's, and not 850watt.

But the NZXT's 1000watt PSU is cheaper than the 850watt from Corsair, so.. :D

Ok, it turned out to expensive. So I'll mix it up again :p

Oh, no it didnt. I still had the 750watt psu in the bag(?) :)

edit: Sorry for triple post, but the mobo comes with two S-ATA cables, so I don't have to add any S-ATA cables?

Yeah you and I both have the AX850, the thing isn't cheap but it's pretty frigging amazing. lol

Don't have. I was thinking to get it :P

But when I first did this, I was thinking that I maybe did some changes to make mine.

Everything is the same, except:

Fractal Design Define XL Black Pearl

Corsair SSD Force Series 2,5" 60GB

MSI GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX

ASUS P8P67 PRO, Socket-1155

Intel Core™ i7 Quad Processor i7-2600K

The FD is one of the cheap cases in Norway, and I hate noises from my computer, so I'm going for the FD XL ;)
