Try them!

For some reason, they work prefectly! I have it running at 1280 x 1024 and get 20 - 30 FPS!

Corey, also tried them and he says they work great too!

:D

Close, but i like these! :P

lol, I'll try putting the water on Extra High too :)
I still think that Very High looks better than High though, personal opinion though! :)

just wondering. I sold my old gaming rig and i bought 2 laptops but now i want to game again so i am seeing what would be the best rig for the price.

Ah right :rolleyes: Do you regret it?
The E6300 is very good, but I think maybe a quad core would be better value?

I kinda regret it, but not at the same time. I like having a laptop because I like to take it with me when i go 4 wheeling and staying at friends houses, but I just miss games. Just curious, how come you went with the e6300 and not the e6550 when the e6550 is a few dollars cheaper?

Yeah, I can see what you mean... I'd miss it!

I got my 6300 about a year ago maybe, so it was fairly new, at the time I had the choice of this or the E6600, and this seemed better as it was cheaper and I could just OC it, when I got it, it was $220.

e6300 can easily handle crysis with the settings in the first post.

i was using a 1.86ghz e6300 before i upgraded to my quad core.

By looking at your screen shots you should be enar the anti gavrity part :P, Looks of aliens coming right up :D. Just dont pick the robots up, 10000000 volts kills u

My perfect settings are forcing DX9, and having it set to high initially, and inputing these settings manually into the console, or a system.cfg file:

r_UsePOM=1
r_sunshafts=1
e_water_ocean_fft=1
q_Renderer=3
r_colorgrading=1

I have it set to 1440x900 and it looks great and I get 30+ FPS most of the time. I will post some screens of those exact settings in my "crysis screenshots" thread.

fps doesn't effect the texture/model quality.
it would look like that even if he had 1fps. it'd just be very, very laggy :P
