Planning my first build. Gaming PC High-end. Seeking support.

Well, the part that goes around your wrist is fairly straightforward. Just make sure it's a snug fit.

The other end clips onto an exposed metal part of the case.

The 800D is all painted (or powder coated), will that matter? There is no raw metal exposed that I am aware of.

It's unlikely you'll zap a component, but it's best to be safe, you wouldn't want to frazzle your new shiny Graphics Card. It's not only the case that can be zapped.

Dude, hope the Rig runs great, and I wanna see your afro:good:

Was moreso asking if it would still ground me well enough. Or would it give the chance of me screwing up a valued component.
IE: do I need to find something other than this case to ground to? And if so can I get a few examples please.

As long as you're not scooting around on the carpet during this, the chances of you frying something are slim. Build it on a non-carpeted floor, or on a table.

Will do, I'm leavin in about an hour (waiting for morning peak to dissipate) so hopefully I have some updates in the next 4-5 hours to let you all see how it went.

YEAH BABY!!!!!!
A successful post first shot!!!
Took me roughly 8 hours to build. Will post up the pics tomorrow as I'm nackered.
Thank you everyone here, you guys are amazing.

Only one issue so far, neither of my WD 500gb saga 6's are showing up as a recognized drive. Double checking my connections now.

Edit. It's as if the mobi does not see it's own sata 6 ports.
All 6of the 3G/s ports come up with the 4 spinpoints in one, a DVD reader in the 5th and no 6 comes up listed as : [Not Detected]
The other two porst don't even show up as anything...
Occupied or not.

Are you looking at it in the BIOS or in Windows?

If it's in Windows, you'll need to install the drivers first, I think.

edit: definitely change it to AHCI

I'm pretty sure that's because they're on a different controller. They're attached to the Marvell controller, not the main chipset like the other ones.

As long as you can boot from them there's no problem, I wouldn't think...

Going to give intalling the OS a shot. See if the w7 setup detects the drives. Will abort if it fails to see them.

Are you setting them up in a RAID array? If you are, you'll have to set that up before installing, I think.
