is
pIII 800mhz but got a AMD Sempron 3000+ with 128kb cache operates at 18000MHZ
normal soundcard (nothing special)
Geforce 4 mx440 (AGP)
192mb of ram
oh and it is quite confusing so plz put it in better context
no this is not always, sometimes u can run games under the minimum, DOOM 3 needs 384 MB ram as minimum, but i used to run it on my old system which has 256MB ram and it runs fine, just the loading time was little slow, but the game runs good, so i think quake 4 will run fine without problems, if u have 512 MB ram.TonyBAMF said:well minimum meaning to run, not to run nice.
Looks like you need a completly new system.
fx5200 will run quake 4 fine at low/mid setting, because in my old system i had fx 5200 and i could run doom3 at 640x480 on high setting, and it was playable.Xycron said:CPU is perfectly FINE, you "might" be able to play on lowest settings but i have no clue, a 5200 could play it, but a 6200 would be the the minimaun if you can. but you will want at LEAST 512mb for RAM, but 1GB would be best
