I have quite a few devices that run through my home network:
Hardwired Devices:
Server-Desktop
Desktop Workstation
Roku 2
PS3
Xbox 360
Wireless Devices:
Wii
Laptop
iPad
2 iPhones
I use 2 DIR-636L D'Link Routers, one set up to act a switch (DHCP and WAN disabled)
I experience lag while gaming online on any console, because of the amount of traffic running thru my routers. Streaming media from Server to Roku via Plex, and also downloading torrents via uTorrent.
If I am going to play games I turn off all downloading and streaming. Then game with no issues.
Any help or ideas how to port everything to avoid this latency?
Thanks!
