If you are spending that much on a power supply, don't get a Thermaltake!!!
In general you're right. This Thermaltake is CWT OEMed, however, so far from a low quality unit. Still not on the top of my recommendations list, though.

would this 750w supply be good enough for the upcomming nvidia 80 series of graphics cards? supposedly they may use up to 400w...so i guess the rest of my core 2 duo setup would be fine on the rest of 350watts??
I've heard the rumors too, although i'm somewhat skeptical. As for whether they'll be adequate, there's no way to know until some specs are released. I guess we'll find out soon enough
