Hey guys,

I turned on my computer yesterday (I don't use it very often, maybe 3 times a week) and all of a sudden this window popped up.

I thought it was no big deal so I closed it. I use PDAnet with my Android phone for my internet connection, so I went to connect PDAnet and then this window came up.

I don't know what is going on, I haven't had this problem before. If anyone could help that would be great. I am running Windows 7 Home. I ran MalwareBytes, and that found some infections. I removed those and then the problem didn't go away. Right now the computer is with me at a friends, so I can run the internet, and am trying to figure this out. It doesn't happen on all programs, for example Firefox works just fine. Other programs work as well, but I really need PDAnet to work. Let me know what I have to do. Thanks

Would it be possible for you to say what infections it removed? I believe MalwareBytes automatically save a log file. Reason i ask is because it's possible the infections have corrupted some installation files for those, and maybe more programs.

Maybe there is somewhere else I am supposed to be looking? I reinstalled PDAnet, but even after I reinstalled it it still crashed. Thanks

I redid the scan and the files still seem to be infected. Maybe I didn't remove them properly last time? Here is the log I have now. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

I stopped the kapef.exe in the task manager and that seemed to fix it. I'm not sure what that is but I don't like it. I am going to delete that file. Thanks again

Are you clicking on the remove selected button after the scan finishes to actually remove those infections? If you aren't, that's why you are still infected.
