I agree with what bomber said. I'll also volunteer to maintain one speciality build. probably mid-range/bang for buck gaming.

Sure, how would we do this? I'd like to do 2 or 3 of them, maybe with more people we could update it weekly.

A few suggestions:
1) I'd separate sound cards into two sections, Audio and Gaming. The X-fi's are good for gaming, but for music...there are far many better choices.

2) I'd Separate sections/builds with Bolded/underlined fonts that are larger than the rest of the text(size 4 would probably work well), and then bold prices as well. No offence, but right now its pretty difficult to read.
