I wouldn't recommend biostar motherboard. You will find better products from asus, gigabyte, msi.

Great case, I have it as well. I like the dedicated ssd drive slot on the bottom of the case.

Would I need to buy an additional SATA cable? Anything else you can see that should be changed?

My budget is around $600. I'd like to play newer games and BF3 when it comes out. They dont have to be maxed out; just normal-high. Do you think this build would do the job?

I wouldn't limit yourself to only 2 slots of ram.

I may be crazy, but in this $600 situation, what do you think of moving to a 5770 or nvidia equivelent in order to free up some $ for a newer motherboard and x4 cpu? It will still game and you could upgrade the card easily.

Would the 5770 be able to play Crysis ect.? If I bought this setup I would probably end up buying another 5770 and using them in CrossFire. How does this look?

otherwise everything looks great, now I have never played crysis before however I have played mw2 with a 4870 w/512mb and it ran flawlessly with a quadcore so I would imagine you should be fine your build looks great also make sure to post some pictures and best of luck :].

Also for consideration possibly might want to go with a antec 300 illusion case, the 912 is just fine and I have done custom builds with it before but I do like antec cases a lot.

Thank you etzelr1990. Unfortunately I am already over budget, so I chose a WD Caviar Blue 320 GB HDD with 16MB of Cache. I did upgrade the RAM though. What do you think?

looks good go for it, if your looking for a faster drive for around the same price if not the same the spinpoint f4 is the best. otherwise click the purchase now button =].

Just the blue series is used for more of storage and such, you will notice the difference when using a faster hdd on bootspeeds, loading of levels and such.
