Hi all, I'm building my first computer from scratch and i made this thread so I can come here and ask questions if i panic I'm looking forward to building, but i'm terrified i'll do something wrong..
This is my build:
MOBO: ASUS X99-DELUXE LGA2011-v3
CPU: Intel Core i7-5820k
RAM: Crucial DDR4 2133MHz 16GB
GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 980
PSU: SuperNOVA 750 G2
HDD: Desktop HDD 2TB 7200RPM
SSD: 840 EVO Basic 250GB
Case: CM Storm Scout II Advanced Gaming
(Thank you for all the help I got with this in my first thread here )
I haven't gotten all the parts yet, only the motherboard, PSU, SSD and HDD today. The rest I think will arrive on Monday or Tuesday and I can start building.
I'm looking at these parts now and I have some questions as i'm trying to sort it out and prepare for the building:
* I'm thinking about installing the OS on my SSD - do i plug the SSD in Sata 1, and the HDD in Sata 2? Can I use the Sata Express port or do I ignore it?
* With the mobo I got a Hyper M.2x4 card or something, am I suppose to use this or is it just an accessory for something else?
* This came with the mobo, what is it for? (picture)
