the celeron g530 or whatever if that is what you are referring to is a very capable processor. It is very capable and kills the e2210 i have in one of my computers and that pc runs fine really as long as you aren't trying to do something cpu intensive.
The G530 is a great processor. Don't know about most, but on mine I ran it under volted to .950 V and it was rock solid. Ran cold on the intel heatsink. Probably would not reach 30* on the 212 EVO. It should be ablout equal to a C2D @ 3GHz.
I have a G530 machine but doesn't run great on windows XP thats why i am concerned as it's going to be to slow to make a smooth working everyday computer
No offense, but having ran it myself, you are not having a CPU issue. You may not have enough RAM or other system issues. The G530 is a strong little processor (equal to a C2D @ 3GHz). It is not the issue.
