Hello everyone, I hope this is the correct place to post (as I am a new member of this forum and this is my first post
).
I bought yesterday a new RAM kit for my computer, and it appears I have a problem of the beeping kind.
the RAM I bought is 8 Gig (4*2) sticks Kingstone 1600 cl 10, as I installed it in to may computer It wont boot and beeps repeatedly (typical RAM problem). the only difference between my old sticks and the new ones besides the capacity and the model name is that the new sticks are UDIMM vs the old DIMM sticks.
Google told me that UDIMM and DIMM are compatible with each other and all good as long as I do not use RDIMM.
now the problem is : I know that my M.Board that supports DIMM should support UDIMM but my computer still wont start and I am really confused and obviously missing something (probably more than one thing
)
thank you for reading this article about how my computer do not work , and I will be really happy if someone could explain me where I am wrong and what I Miss
