Ram over 800Mhz?

m a bit confused by my ram speed...does this mean my ram is running at 824Mhz? it cant be...i do have 2 sticks of 800mhz ram and the other two are 667mhz,my ram voltage is set to auto i think.

hmmmm yeah shouldnt they all be running at 667 then? hmmm..
so maybe you've overclocked them a fair bit?
 
well yeah i thought that,the funny thing is though i havnt changed any memory settings,They must have changed when i overclocked my cpu automaticly because they are set to auto .



its still at stock voltage aswell.... 1.8 Volts

sorry to hijack threads :D but what does dual channel interleaved mean. ive read a few things about it. still dont understand... is it better then just having symmetrical dual channel?

Your timings are fine. DDR2-800 @ 4-4-4 is fairly common but since you are running DDR2-667 @ ~825MHz (330MHz * 2.5 ---- 266.6MHz * 2.5 = 667)

Dual channel interleaved is dual channel symmetric.

Will my ram be okay running at over 800Mhz?

my system seems to be stable with no problems.

2 of my sticks are 800 anyway so ive only overclocked my 667 sticks some.
 
I'd imagine so but if the voltage isn't rediculously high and it's not overheating it's still going to live longer than it's likely to be used for.

well its still at stock 1.8v :)

also all the memory has heatspreaders built on like this

Okay, rereading the thread I think I understand now. When he over clocked his processor it likely bumped up his voltage on his RAM as well. The memory is probably running at 2.0 volts or higher.
