Yeah that's really cool....probably just a satellite passing over that area and snapped a few pics....and google got their hands on them.

That may be old like DEA footage, like an arms deal went off in that exact spot or something, or someone was calibrating the cameras on thier new satellite.
Also- did you notice any people?
Edit: very many people? there are very few, but there are some... wonder if something happened there

your supposed to be entering the coordinates into google earth, the desktop application, not just typing them into google, lol

oh and that massive thing looks very much like a quarry to me

I think that is a picture that was spliced between a winter and summer shot of the area. Why they did it I don't know, but it probably has something to do with getting the best resolution.
