If you want to save a bit look at the ati 4850 as a video card its a great price/performance card.

I would stick with the 1200 it's an amazing case. Also i have to agree with Pies the 4850 is the best price/performance card on the market today.

The Antec 1200 doesn't really taste like a budget rig :P Looks pretty solid though :)

After reading it again, I agree. I would rate this budget build probably a 3/10. :P

The rig itself is a monster, go for it ;)

It's a budget build because I;m only working with 1400. Which isn't much, considering that is in australian currency. Haha.

well even so all those parts are expensive here in the states ...wish i had that kind of a budget...shit haha id go for a 400 dollar budget atm hahaha
good luck on your build:D

The currency doesn't matter, the prices are pretty much proportional I think. In other words, that's nothing near to a budget build :P The computer is indeed, an excellent gaming rig though, don't get me wrong.

lol pretty much everything in alstralia for computers cost twice as much, newegg, would make some crazy money if they shipped there

Lol, I didn't realise that a budget build was under $800. Ah well, I guess because I'm on TIGHT budget to build this rig and make it as good as possible.

i would personaly go for a smaller case like the antec 900 and up the gfx card to a 4870. (Performance over looks)
