Hi,

Im just looking for the best first person shooter, only be playing online, counter-strike style. Graphics must be the best out of all games in this genre. Homefront? Sure its bad for single player campaign but possibly the best for multiplayer? Battlefield 2?

Advice appreciated, thanks

mw 1
world at war
crysis
bf bc 2
bf2 (old but immense)
bf2142 is cool as well
medal of honor (some people hate it i personally love it)
homefront looks like it hsould be good
people have been raving about bulletstorm maybe try that out
crysis 2

Wolrd at war was a fail too me...I'd pick up mw2 though. Crysis 2 demo was freakin awesome. Won't hurt to try that. What are your PC specs?

what did you htink of black ops?

i really wanted to suggest it, but i hate that game so much that no wishing it was better would help

only cod game iv give up on after a month or two and i used to be a real fan boy

I loved WaW.

I would not recommend MoH, it was such an epic fail. I mean the new one by the way, not the originals, most of them were very good.

CoD4 should definitely be on the list, and if you like realistic shooters, as in extreme realism, get BF2 + project reality mod (PR is free), or ArmA 2

any COD game online they are epic fun and always keeps you looking over your shoulder. :)

*looks at MW2 and BLOPs*

Crysis 2 will be out next week, if you're looking for good graphics that's where it's at. I played the multiplayer demo a bit on 360 and it's pretty fun. I'd say it's similar to Call of Duty as far as game mechanics go but it's faster paced.

Whatever you do, get the Team Fortress 2/GMod pack along with it. You'll be entertained for a looong time.

oh i almost forgot, definately get borderlands goty ed, it is amazing, so much to do, amazing gameplay (it actually feels like a shooter)
fallout 3/new vegas are also amazing however the gunplay is a bit meh i found, the rest of the game more than makes up for this but its less a shooter than it is an rpg

oh my days fallout 3 and new vegas. If you don't mind single player games, get them, they are 2 of my favourite games of all time, the gameplay, the story, the world, everything about those games is exceptional

dunno why but i couldnt get into new vegas, iwas crazyily addicted to fallout 3.

What about bullterstorm?

TF2...Great game, fast paced, on full graphics setting it looks nice, and, you shouldn't base the games you play around their graphics, I still play quake 3 to this very day and have a blast every time though it was released December 2, 1999. Like everyone's been saying COD really any of them, BF2, HL: DM (Sorry, I just love Valve games!) Portal 2 coming out in April, be sure to get that.

[my first sentence was comma overkill]

The original crysis games will be fun to play while we wait for the second one to come out, I'm preloading my copy.

i say the s.t.a.l.k.e.r series, they are brilliant games and i always shit my pants playing them. But unfortunately they are a bit buggy.
