Recommend a Unique Game for me? I do not seem to enjoy normal Recommendations.

Hi Everyone , Looking for a new PC / ps3 / xbox 360 game to play... I think I have a strange/unique taste in games...

Games I loved : Bioshock, Metal Gear Solid Series , Alan Wake , Max Payne 1 and 2, Half Life , Battlefield BC2, Heavy Rain , Indigo Prophecy. Resident Evil 4 , Eternal Darkness (Sanity's Requiem, Gamecube... AWESOME) Mass Effect.. MLB the Show, NHL 11 , Uncharted 1 2 , Dreamfall ,Gears of War, Dead Space

Games I tried and did not like : Killzone 2 , Crysis , Halo Reach , Assassins Creed 2, Fallout, FEAR 2 , Fable II, Next Gen Madden, Condemned 1 and 2 , Mafia , Far Cry 1 and 2 , Bioshock 2... not sure if I didnt like it or I was pissed that my game wouldnt save. Halo ODST was terrible too.

Games Im thinking about trying : Borderlands , Devil May Cry 4 , Resistance 2 or 3 , Braid, Red Dead Redemption

Anyone have similar taste like me and have a recommendation... Im sure I missed a bunch of games
 
borderlands you wont regret it, especially if you get the goty ed, all the dlc's

i only played the zombie one but that was a lot of fun with a few funny moments

amazing game, kept e entertained for months and collecting weapons and sellling em is cool.
 
its mostly singleplayer, you can do everything in a 4 player co op, but its amazing on SP

you can also battle otehr people online fi you want to in arenas, or even use one the dlcs and it make it sort of like horde mode
 
Yeah...iv beat ALL the DLC's xcept the newest one, Armory of Whatever-His-Name-Is....lol... But yeah..its a cool game with good singleplayer stories...like 1 for each map pack/DLC... :)

Th total GOTY Edition is like 30$ on Steam.. :)
 
I would strongly recomend Batman Arkham Asylum.
You have the same taste in game like me so I think you will like it.
 
If you want to try new things and are looking for something unique... MINECRAFT! lol :)

It's not like your other games, but it is definitely good and unique.
 
Braid is a lot of fun and pretty unique and you can pick it up for pretty cheap. But its not an action based game like most of what you've listed. I got it through steam when it was on sale for under $5.
 
i would say the stalker games or minecraft, orrrr nwn1 or 2 baldurs gate etc any of those D&D games made by bioware are awesome. Hell any Bioware game is awesome!
 
GARRY'S MOD!!!!!! love that game, basically a sandbox game, but if you get half life 2, counter strike source, team fortress 2 and get a good server....hell...:)
you can even download mods for it that introduce new guns, characters, etc. look up garry's mod gameplay

Yeah Batman Arkham Asylum was great.I am waiting for Batman Arkham City which will be released this winter.

Other than that I like doing mods on GTA IV.The game is poorly coded.But after a lot of mods and new patches it becomes awesome.Like you will need to put the handling patch and new vehicle and weapon sounds.

And Borderlands was okay.
Dont go for Just Cause 2 it has gameplay which is almost like batman but not that good and poor story.
 
I agree with borderlands.

and DEMON SOULS!!! I was addicted to that game for like a month. Can't wait for it's spiritual predecessor Dark Souls.

I would consider my tastes similar to yours and I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2 for some time now. Very fun game to play online! There are a lot of different options when it comes to gameplay but it's a simple game to get and very entertaining.

It is fairly priced as well.
