Backstory:
I've had my laptop for a little over a year now, and it came with Vista. I've been happy with Vista since I got it. Recently my computer has been slowing down quite a bit and I randomly get pop up windows with various sayings. I'm wanting to reformat and start fresh again.
Here's my questions:
1. Whats the easiest way to reformat?
2. What version of Windows do i go with?
3. If I decide on XP versus Vista, what options will I no longer have?
I don't do any sort of heavy gaming that requires tons of graphic power, but I do only have 2gb of ram to start with. I use the dual monitor feature at all times when I have the laptop at home. I am often doing several things at once on my computer, so the more power I can reserve for the multitasking the better.
