D drewmanne New Member Aug 15, 2005 #3 Im not trying to replace the screen, I want to use it as a second monitor for the other laptop. The broken computer is a gateway solo. I dont know the exact model but i got it in 99. The other laptop i have is a toshiba sattellite.
