Running dual-different cards?

Doing good, got $50 so far. And I can't sell the 6950 to get my PSU because my motherboard doesn't have onboard video and then I'd have to save $300 to buy a new GPU just so I can use my rig
Why don't you connect your monitor to your phone via a USB to HDMI adapter and connect your phone to your PC using bluetooth or WiFi, no need for a video card then :P

That EVGA unit is probably just as good honestly. You're doing more damage by putting it off longer and longer. Particularly at the rate you save money. :P

Im getting annoyed with going back and forth myself. I am going to do more chores, get more money, and then get the dang Corsair because that's what I need and want. I'm done with this topic myself now, time to move on.

Not a bad idea... too bad he has an iPhone 6 and not a Lumia 950 - he could use Continuum if he bought the little Continuum box that allows you to plug a monitor, mouse and keyboard into the phone and transform it into a PC! :p It's $100 though, so over-budget. :(

Good shout! I'll have to remember that unit.

Yea... Also is there any precautions to take when disposing my old PSU since the caps in it can have lethal voltage? Or do I just toss it in the outside dumpster and forget it? Can they be recycled for scrap money?
You chuck it in the bin and then some kind soul collects it for you and throws it into an incinerator or buries it deep into the ground, where it belongs. :)

I can respect that, but I also gotta ask, why NOT get the EVGA unit? You can afford it, it's of comparable quality, and you truly will be done with the entire mess and start saving for that sweet sweet 390. Especially if you have to wait half a year to get another 15 bucks for a arguably similar unit.

Yeah @The VCR King I was only going on about the Corsair because I didn't realise EVGA had a 600W PSU for this kind of money. Good quality, well-priced, you can afford it. Why not buy it now and put an end to all of this?

Only slightly annoying thing about it is that it's not modular but at the end of day having a PSU that works is more important than it being modular and if it's going to take any length of time to save up for the Corsair then I'd just get this EVGA now.

How long do you think it will take you to get that outstanding $15?
