Why don't you connect your monitor to your phone via a USB to HDMI adapter and connect your phone to your PC using bluetooth or WiFi, no need for a video card then

Yea... Also is there any precautions to take when disposing my old PSU since the caps in it can have lethal voltage? Or do I just toss it in the outside dumpster and forget it? Can they be recycled for scrap money?

But seriously you need to get that power supply before September. Put it this way, if you have a bad heart you won't want to wait 6 months for a heart transplant, you might have died by then.
I can respect that, but I also gotta ask, why NOT get the EVGA unit? You can afford it, it's of comparable quality, and you truly will be done with the entire mess and start saving for that sweet sweet 390. Especially if you have to wait half a year to get another 15 bucks for a arguably similar unit.

Yeah @The VCR King I was only going on about the Corsair because I didn't realise EVGA had a 600W PSU for this kind of money. Good quality, well-priced, you can afford it. Why not buy it now and put an end to all of this?
Only slightly annoying thing about it is that it's not modular but at the end of day having a PSU that works is more important than it being modular and if it's going to take any length of time to save up for the Corsair then I'd just get this EVGA now.
How long do you think it will take you to get that outstanding $15?
At his current $30/year it will be a good 20 years until his PC is where he wants it
