This may be confusing.
But I host the LANs in a party room, across the hall is a computer room, with 2 computers, wireless router, and router.
I might run an ethernet from that router to my switch, so my guests aren't on my network.


What would have to be changed in the setup?

k, this is how you set it up....

Internet > cable modem > router > switch > your clients

If you don't want them on your network then you'll have to hook them up separately, if this party room you are talking about has internet access, hook up the internet access to a router and then repeat what I wrote above. That is how you would keep it separate.
