Should I cancel my 8800GT

Well, it all comes down to: do you want to wait till the 29th+?? ;)

I mean, from my point of view, the 8800GT and GTS (512) are pretty much in proportion regarding price/performance, you pay $XXX for the GT but if you pay the extra $XX you get that extra performance with the GTS so you should just think if you want to wait that long... :rolleyes:

Thats IMO of course...

Depends...do you really want the extra performance boost? If you want it for COD4 and want every last frame, go with the 8800GTS. I personally just stepped up my 8800GTS 320mb to the 8800GTS 512mb, partially because the 8800GT was backordered but mostly because I didn't mind the extra few bucks (especially when I didn't pay for the 320mb card--it was a bday present :)) for the extra performance increase. But if you don't want to spend the money and/or don't need the slight performance gains, wait for the 8800GT.
 
I'm just talking to the customer help thing now, apparently, I'm 12 in the que and they're getting 14 of them in today!

Is the GT KO as good as any of the GTS'?
 
It'd only be marginal to to be honest some some overclocking you'd be able to reach those speeds anyway with the 8800GT.
 
Hey Kornowski, didn't you already have a 8800GT?? :rolleyes: I remember you posting something about it on the New Toy thread I think it was an EVGA...

Just wondering :)
 
Ah now, that was when I'd ordered it and it was expected to arrive very soon, but I canceled it, I'm going to order the new GTS instead now!

ZOMG! lol :P
