Should i get a PSP

Well you've got to ask yourself, do you really need a PocketPC? Or will you actually use it. Same questions you should ask yourself on all your gadgets. If I didnt have a laptop, I'd be using the PocketPC more. If the PSP was my only gadget, I'd be using the hell out of it too. Its just that my lappy can do it all and I'm always on it. The web browser on the PocketPC and PSP is very limited compared to all the things I can do on a laptop or desktop. Also, some PPC's may not run large video files without stuttering a lot (you'll need a PPC with some muscle for that). Music playback should be fine as on any device, games are limited and not as fulfilling as those on a PSP or lappy. Appointments, I have my cell phone calendar for that and outlook. I use my PPC for reading internet articles and music playback and that's about it. But it's very minimal, maybe on flights and I dont fly that much. I'm from Los Angeles and we all live in our cars, so car stereo is what I use daily for my audio equipment. I'd say get it if you think you really need it.

That is kind of what I wanted to tell him. Thanks for pointing that out to him.

PSP Best

man !

to be honest you dont want an Ipod. I've got a PSP and its really worth it.
you need a PSP and b4 you buy go here to read 1st: www.psp-hacks.com
remember to read about DOWNGRADE your PSP it is very important.
it gives you all type of formation you need what a PSP firmware v1.5 can do.

and when you own a PSP version 1.5 with a 2gb or 4gb memory stick you have everything you need.

Videos & music. the thing is you can use other application on your PSP and watch movies in a BIG screen you can play games and listen to music at the same time with some of the application. and Most important you can surf net with your PSP. if you worry abt the life of battery you should consider get another extra battery which is abt only $30. you should look at it this way 30GB of music noone listen to that much of music one time right ?
and watching video on Ipod is eye straining.

I like my PSP a lot. It was pretty dang costly but it works for me, I love the games, nice big screen. Movies and music on the thing are very nice too, I cant wait to take this thing on a big flight or something :D

Thanks for the suggestions, but I really dont want a PSP anymore, lol.

I would go with some PMP, but not an iPod. Maybe something with a big screen and great battery life. I dont know any of the top of my head but it would be the best option.

Ummm...this thread is sort of 4 months old? Check the date before bringing something back up.

But I agree, a PSP with devhook, 1.5 firmware, and devhook emulating 2.71 is the shit.
