Hi guys, I'm at a bit of a dilemma. My current specs are:
Packard Bell Rio motherboard (LGA 775 socket)
Intel Pentium D 3.40Ghz
2 Gb RAM
GeForce 7500LE graphics card
I understand that this is an extremely outdated system but I really can't afford to spend much if any as I'm saving for a car. I plan to buy a laptop before I go to university but this will either be for next September or the September after. Lately my computer has been running really slowly so I will be formatting while upgrading to Windows 7. Will a format be enough to play games like Battlefield 3? Obviously I won't be able to use high settings but I can just about play Crysis now. I honestly can't decide between doing nothing, upgrading or buying a laptop now. What do you think? Also if I should upgrade do you have an reccomendations for parts?
Thanks a lot, Jim
