Those are pretty nice specs, if you upgrade your videocard to something like the Radeon 4870 the computer will last until the price of Nehalem setups coms down enough so you can get yourself a new build.It has a q6660 which i ocd to 3.2ghz 4 gigs of corssair mem and an 8800gt.
Most even remotely demanding games utilize at least 2 cores now. If they only run a single thread, chances are the thread won't need all available processing power of even one core of a yorkfield.Nehalem won't be a lot faster than Yorkfield in single-threaded applications such as most games.
