So I'm shutting down my computer as normal via start menu. Monitor shuts off, comp shuts off. For whatever reason I decide to turn off the surge protector too (I usually leave it on). Its not a regular power strip surge protector, its a big gray, supposedly high quality surge protector, APC Power Manager (very old).
Anyways, in about an hour I come back to turn the comp on, and all i get is the power light flashing once and then nothing. I unplug everything and start trying things. I use different outlets, different power cords, switching the, what seems to be a PSU on/off switch? on the case back and forth. I still get a flicker from the LED light and then nothing, I don't hear any fans or anything.
So what could it be? I'm thinking, even though the comp was off, it still had power running to it, and the immediate withdrawal may have blown something? Somethings definetly wrong lol, but I haven't been able to diagnose it. Any ideas? lol, thanks for the help.
