Something wrong and i think its the motherboard....

Swap out the PSU. That should solve the problem.. Unless your board is shorting out. You could also unplug the reset and power buttons and use something to quickly short out the power button header long enough for it to power on.

i looked all over and i didnt find it... im not saying your wrong its just i dont know what im looking for exactally..

could you show me where its located at anywhere on my motherboard ill find it faster

the jumpers should be right next to the battery

just wondering, but is the monitor on standby (usually indicated by the led on/near the power button of the monitor beeing orange, or is it on, in wich case such a led is usually green?)

I had a problem quite some time ago that pretty much looks like this one. you build up the pc, everything checked and is in place. but the screen stays black. I had the oppertunity to try a other grafic's card (I had a 6800GT at that time, and could test with a x300se) and it was indeed not the grafic's card that was faulty.

so, If you have another pci-e grafic's card you could test your pc with, that would already rule out it beeing the frafic's card :) (in my case, it was indeed the motherboard beein doa, so i sent it back, got it replaced (after the shop tested it, and found it to be doa too), and the pc ran fine after that.

also, when you try to find the problem of something like this, you want to start with as few hardware connected as possible :) so, start with only a grafic's card, the motherboard, the cpu and 1 stick of RAM. if that works, connect the hdd, and so on and so on. and, well, if it doesnt work, you know its either the cpu, motherboard, grafic's card, ram or powersupply :o (in wich case you copuld look to try a grafic's card from another pc wich you know works, if you have a fitting one that is)
I've never heard of a doa cpu so far, and even if the ram is broken, it should boot up, and start beeping (because the motherboard cant do anything with the ram) so make sure the beeper is connected too.

i know its been awhile but...

i bought a new motherboard and put everything back and it still doesnt registry the monitor or anything else connected.. and i put in my old X1300 and 7900gs and stayed the same.. :(

so could maybe my power supply died when it was hooked up to my 8800? or something with my ram or cpu?
