This happens when Security Center has been set not to alert you about the status of your antivirus program (to change this setting, click on Start -> Control Panel -> Security Center -> Change the way Security Center alerts me) and tick Antivirus. It is possible for malware to change this setting to stop you knowing that your antivirus has been disabled, but there are also a number of perfectly innocent explanations - some security suites will even disable this to stop you from receiving redundant warnings if definitions are out of date.I keep getting an error on S&D saying that its detecting a microsoft windows security center antivirus over ride.
For which program? Spybot? Windows? Are you receiving any particular error message?I haven't been able to install any updates. Can someone help please?
