strange problem

I already replaced the mobo with a intel dq965gf and not a single problem so far i did contact ecs about the problem and the board is covered by warenty im gonna send it off let em fix it up and put it in my sons comp after i get another cpu

Check to make sure mobo isnt shorting out!!

^^^ isn't there some type of wasther to make sure is there so its not on the case?

The most common problem is placing a standoff in the wrong spot. When the board is lowered down inplace that will touch a lead on a component. The correct holes will see a recess surrounding the hole usually a silver colored ring where the top of the standoff presses against the board without touching any live circuit.
