You got the latest video driver? I doubt your issue is with the services.
I also removed Kaspersky.
It's still between 100 to 200 MB.
Would it be safe to disable the services 1 by 1 and quickly look if either is causing the problem?
Not a good idea to remove your only antivirus program. I would suggest installing the free programs of either Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials.
I still have Eset Nod32 Anti-virus installed. Do you know any stand-alone firewall programs? Or does Avast have that?
It's in my system tray and it's up-to-date. Ccleaner also shows it in the installed programs list.Eset wasn't in your programs list though? How can it be installed? Are you behind a router? If so, you really don't need a firewall unless you are working with sensitive data/websites. Zonealarm firewall is free but can be a pain setting it up properly. Comodo is a possibility as well.
